Phaedra Backwards

So, this play exists.  And I’m completely fascinated.

Phaedra Backwards

I blame DeAnna Toten Beard for my fascination with the Phaedra myth.  I blame Kelly Russell for my obsession with all things Irish, particularly Marina Carr (check out her play By the Bog of Cats, a retelling of the Medea story).  I blame my students this past summer for reminding me how much I love the myth.

And by blame, I mean, “owe a giant coffee to as a measure of my thanks.”
